capricorn new moon meditation
In this meditation you are guided into clarity of the relationships that nourish your vision and the vision of the greater good.
Around this time of year, I always find myself reflecting on how capitalistic society has brought upon the urgency of taking new action in the dead of winter. To be in our external winter is also to be in our inner winter, an inner death, a time of letting go, disintegrating, releasing, resting.
There is a slowness that at times can feel heavy if we are pushing ourselves. However, this slowness is a strength, the action of non-action provides the space to be even more intentional with how we show up for ourselves and others. It is a time of reflection, like the new moon, a void, a liminal space to be clear with our hearts intent.
During this season, I have become acutely aware of this pull inward - but inward with others. Nourishing the relationships and spaces in my life that are reciprocal, reflecting on the relations I want to build so we can nurture the vision and dream for a greater humanity. And just as we come inward together for winter, may we bring the vision outward in the spring.
